Interactive Crash Map
The interactive crash map is populated with data from the Haines Transportation Safety Survey, which received 369 responses.
The map includes two types of pins: the orange exclamation marks show where respondents marked a specific safety concern, like a blind corner, narrow road, lack of shoulder, etc. The red crash marks show where respondents indicated they had experienced an actual accident or near-miss. Click on either type of pin to read more about the safety concern or incident.
Note: All safety concerns and accidents/near-misses noted on paper surveys have been reviewed by the project team and translated onto the digital map.
